HALL OF FAMEIn November 2019, I was inducted into the Iowa High School Swimming Hall of Fame at the Iowa Girls High School Swimming State Championship Meet.
This was one of the happiest days of my life — a true honor and outstanding way to celebrate 13 years as a competitive swimmer. I hung up my goggles and suit in retirement in 2015, but hard work, tenacity, and time management are all skills learned in athletics that I’ve carried into my professional life. Swimming will always have a special place in my heart. |
